Track Water Usage
The Big Sky County Water & Sewer District is encouraging all customers with metered water service to sign up for the WaterSmart portal, our free customer platform that provides tools for:
- Online bill payment
- Water usage tracking
- Custom alert notifications for potential leaks or unusual usage
Within WaterSmart, customers can access a powerful usage tracking dashboard that allows them to monitor real-time consumption and set personalized usage thresholds to receive alerts if water use exceeds their expectations.
WaterSmart Adoption Growing
Customer adoption of the WaterSmart platform continues to rise. As of today, 55% of our customers are enrolled, and from January 1 through March 31, the system sent 156 alerts notifying customers of possible continuous water usage. These alerts are helping residents catch issues early and prevent high bills or property damage.
