More Convenient Features to Pay your Bill:

The Big Sky County Water & Sewer District has a an new online bill payment system.  This system allows our customers to pay their water and/or sewer bills online using a credit card, or by ank drafts.

Credit Card Payments.  If you elect to pay your bill with a credit card, a 3.75% convenience fee, or a minimum of $3.25 is added to the charge to cover the District’s cost for credit processing.  All major credit cards and debit cards are accepted methods to pay your bill.

Bank Draft Payments.  Bank drafts are charged $0.95 (95 cents)  per transaction.
 
AutoPay

Even better – don’t worry about paying your bill at all!  Enroll in AutoPay.  Your bills will be automatically paid on the due date each billing cycle, using your default credit card or bank account. This will avoid any late fees and free you from having to remember when to pay.

Login to your account and click on AutoPay to enroll.

Scheduling Payments

You choose when to pay. Scheduled payments are individual payments that you schedule for any date you designate prior to the bill due date. The date of a scheduled payment can be changed as long as it is adjusted before the date scheduled.

Paperless

Reduce paper clutter and the need to file or shred documents. Go paperless to receive bills, reminders, and receipts via email. You will receive an email notification each time a new bill is ready for you to view and pay.

Remind Me

Need a reminder? Our RemindMe feature adds an alert to your calendar. You can also get email & text (optional) reminders.

F.A.Q.s

Does it cost money to use the online system to pay my sewer and water bill?
Yes. A transaction fee in the amount of 3.75%, or a $3.25 minimum charge is added to the balance to cover the District’s costs in paying credit card transaction fees.

Will we have our account history available on the new system?
No. When you sign up with WaterSmart as a recurring auto pay customer you will have a new account with no payment history in it.

Can I pay my bill with a credit card at the District office?
Yes. Our customers can come by the office and pay their bill with a credit card.

Can I pay my bill with a credit card if I call the District office?
Yes. You can call our office and ask to pay your bill with a credit card. One of our staff can get your information over the phone and enter it in to the WaterSmart website terminal. You will be charged a 3.75%, or a minimum of $3.25 as convenience fee which will be added to your payment.
