Developers and Contractors

Standards and Requirements

Project compliance is governed by Montana codes and District standards, with plan reviews and drawing access managed through the District Office.

Inspections and Scheduling

All water and sewer installations must be inspected and approved by the District before backfilling. To schedule an inspection, contact the District Office at least two business days in advance.

Once plumbing is ready, customers or contractors may pick up a water meter or meter horn from the District Office. To coordinate pickup, call 406-995-2660 or email office@wsd363.com.

Plan Review and Approvals

All development plans for new subdivisions, condominium developments, hotels, and other commercial or multi-unit projects must be reviewed and signed off by the District prior to construction.

All water main extensions must be reviewed and approved by District engineering before installation. To coordinate development review, call 406-995-2660 or email office@wsd363.com.
