Big Sky County Water & Sewer District 363 is accepting applications for the position of Wastewater Operator to oversee and coordinate the daily operation, maintenance, and repair of the District’s water systems.
This position plays a key role in ensuring safe, efficient, and regulatory-compliant operations through hands-on operation, technical expertise, and coordination of field activities.
Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- 3-5 years of experience in water and/or wastewater operations and maintenance
- Valid driver’s license
- Applicable Montana DEQ Water and Wastewater certifications for systems being operated
Preferred Qualifications
- Additional experience in water systems
- Experience with SCADA or PLC systems
