Operations Manager
Big Sky County Water & Sewer District 363 – (Exempt)
Big Sky County Water & Sewer District 363 is accepting applications for the position of Operations Manager. This position provides leadership and oversight of the District’s operations, including water and wastewater system operations, maintenance, regulatory compliance, safety programs, and operational planning.
The Operations Manager reports to the Executive Director and works with the Board of Directors, regulatory agencies, and District staff to ensure safe, reliable, and compliant operation of the District’s infrastructure.
Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- 5–10 years of experience in the operation and maintenance of water or wastewater treatment facilities and conveyance systems
- At least four years of supervisory experience
- Valid driver’s license
- Applicable Montana DEQ Water and Wastewater certifications for systems being operated
Preferred Qualifications
- Degree in engineering, environmental science, business administration, or related field
- Experience with project planning and capital improvements
- Strong personnel management and communication skills
